Lead Superintendent - Commercial Construction

We are currently seeking a Lead Superintendent for an amazing and exciting opportunity. The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all site operations to ensure that projects are constructed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the plans and specifications agreed upon by the client. The Lead Superintendent is responsible for providing guidance, direction and supervision to the superintendents, project engineers, and other personnel for project related matters.
Essential Job Functions of the Lead Superintendent:
Assume responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with the plans, specifications, budget and schedule to the satisfaction of the owner.
Provide daily on-site production, management, and engineering support to the superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Develops project plan, monitors progress and takes corrective action as needed.
Supervise the installation of material and equipment to verify accuracy and conformance.
Ensure current project documents and drawings are distributed, posted, and communicated to the project staff and subcontractors.
Work proactively to resolve conflicts constructively and efficiently.
Provide project Risk Analysis and Quality Control recommendations.
Prepare and submit jobsite financial reports and forecasts for the project.
Ability to train and develop other employees.
Lead Superintendent Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction documents, building systems and construction standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with computers and software applications related to the construction industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct a team.
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.

Job Requirements of the Lead Superintendent:
Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
Experience in preconstruction and managing construction projects and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures are essential.
This manager-level can manage large projects of a complex nature and multiple projects.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
