We are seeking a talented Director, Internal Communications who will be responsible for defining and executing strategy and facilitating the implementation of internal/employee communications plans and activities for the company.
This individual will set the tone and lead the Voice of Employees in disseminating vital information to all employee groups and helps to build the culture of company through informative, supportive and engaging communications.
SUPERVISOR FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Act as supervisor to, currently one (1) direct report.
Perform annual performance reviews.
Interact on a daily basis to inform decisions and set strategic direction based on each function.
Display strong leadership skills in order to lead team to success in achieving both marketing and company-wide goals.
Acts as first layer of approval on all internal branded content.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
Executes and operationalizes Co-op's messaging strategy and ensures it is articulated throughout enterprise communications.
Implements strategic, concise and engaging internal/employee communications including, but not limited to:
communications plans, leadership messages/presentations, speakerships/remarks, talking points, Q&A/briefing documents, owned content including enterprise communications (web content, survey data), and other materials.
Leads and manages corporate enterprise storytelling initiative for internal editorial calendar.
Manages implementation of internal communications (employees) across Co-op including Intranet (Co-op Central) content, internal company meetings/conferences, live events, select corporate/business content via internal channels, and other messaging.
Sets KPIs for measuring the effectiveness of internal communications.
Manages Integrated Communications Specialist role, defining workload, setting priorities and tracking progress.
Implements internal communications strategy to improve employee experience and integrate broader CX initiative throughout enterprise.
Assists with crisis communications, M&A, organizational development and change communications.
Provides support for a high volume of internal communications needs including intranet content development and execution around employee meetings.
Establish and lead cross-functional work streams and project management with key stakeholders to efficiently meet enterprise communications objectives.

Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management.
Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.
Participates in on-call communications rotation (24x7/8x year) to support distribution of incident communications to clients and employees.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Fundamental organizational communications strategies and tactics.
Experience in corporate reputation management, messaging and enterprise storytelling Ability to successfully manage projects and timelines.
Industry knowledge of credit union movement and how to articulate that purpose and mission throughout Co-op's communications.
Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Ensure execution of projects in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner.
Work comfortably and effectively with all levels of employees.
Successfully influence peers and internal clients to achieve objectives.
Appreciate the value of collaboration and teamwork.
Use sound judgment to manage information to various internal and external audiences, consistent with Co-op's messages and positioning.
Operate independently to prioritize work plans and tasks to meet agreed-upon timeframes and deliverables.
Continually gauge the effectiveness of all communications activities, adjusting strategies and tactics as appropriate.
Communicate results to management and track results for KPI purposes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing Communications, Journalism or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Minimum 10
years of experience in a corporate or agency setting, managing corporate communications plans Demonstrated ability as a strong writer, manager and communications leader (expertise in project management and implementation).
Strategic thinker and strong counselor.
Proven ability to support and co-manage crisis communications, organizational change communications, employee communications.

In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$115,000.
00 - $145,000.
00 Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
